Berkhamsted is a group of schools with a thriving boarding community with flexible boarding from Year 7 and full and weekly boarding from Year 9.

There are 2 boarding houses (total capacity 85), one for girls and one for boys, which are located in the heart of the town very close to the campuses.

Every boarding student is a member of a Day House during the school day and is fully immersed into a British education with IELTS lessons as part of their weekly timetable.

There is a high ratio of boarding staff to students which provides a strong pastoral support network with safety at the heart of the provision.

There is a home-from-home atmosphere and evening activities include quiet study, and use of the school facilities such as the swimming pool, sports hall, gym, and various activities in the common room.
