School Overview

Established in 1974, David Game is an independent college that aims to promote the joy of knowledge and learning while simultaneously maintaining the sharpest possible focus on the demands of the public examinations. We are very pleased to announce we have been considered OUTSTANDING in all categories by Ofsted for a second time in succession, 2017 and 2020.

Our founder David Game insists on the teaching of traditional skills and on students understanding the importance of giving attention to detail. We have an excellent track record of turning around previously underperforming students who benefit from the small classes, close monitoring system and exam-focused approach. The College closely tracks the examination board specifications to ensure that tutors are following the current model and options and to see that all aspects of the syllabus are covered. Homework is set regularly and students improve their examination technique through regular timed tests.

Boarding Overview

The David Game Boarding House is next door to the school in the heart of the City of London and was purpose-built in 2021. 116 state-of-the-art single rooms are waiting for our students. En-suite rooms are available. We have a Head of Boarding, House Parents on every floor (11-13 students per floor) and a night security guard to provide 24 hour supervision for all boarders. We offer dedicated male and female only floors occupied by age range. Our boarding package is fully inclusive of all meals and co-curricular activities.

Extra Curricular Overview

There are so many different groups, so whether you aim to continue a hobby that you have been enjoying for years or want to try something new, you are almost certain to find a club or society for you.

If you would like to go one step further you could become a chairperson, treasurer or lead one of the clubs. Alternatively, if there is nothing that matches your interest, you can set up your own club or society. The Head of Super and Extra Curriculum Enrichment will be able to advise you on this.
