About Epsom College
School Overview
One of the UK’s leading co-ed day and boarding schools, voted Independent School of the Year 2022/23. We provide pupils with a rounded education, aligning our outstanding academic provision with a vast co-curricular offer and a sports programme that regularly wins national titles.
Boarding Overview
Around 40% of our pupils are boarders, who themselves are comprised of 60% weekly boarders (predominantly from the UK) and 40% full boarders (who are mainly international students). Our student body is incredibly diverse, with over 40 nationalities represented and children from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds.
Extracurricular Overview
Each week pupils choose from around 150 clubs, activities and societies. Some are enjoyed on rotation and some are entirely free choice, so that pupils are both taken outside of their comfort zone to find new passions and also allowed to indulge their interests. All activities – including service to the community, Duke of Edinburgh and CCF – are part of the student’s timetable, so that everything takes place during the school day, and – almost exclusively – within our 72-acre estate.
