About Fulneck School
School Overview
Fulneck has a warm, family atmosphere and is a vibrant, inclusive community in which to live, learn and achieve.
The wonderful rural location in the historic and unique settlement of Fulneck provides an inspirational and stimulating environment for students to fulfill their potential.
For over two hundred and fifty years, Fulneck has delivered a distinctive education that values individuals, and it is the quality of the relationships and the personalised approach that makes our school so successful.
Boarding Overview
Fulneck is more than just a school, it is a home away from home.
When a student joins us in boarding, they join the Fulneck family, living amongst their best friends in a boarding house run by warm and caring staff.
Boarding is available on a full-time, weekly, or flexi-boarding basis so that students can stay for as many nights as they need. We recognise our parents lead busy lives and the school offers support in this respect, providing stability and consistency for everyone.
Extracurricular Overview
The co-curricular programme at Fulneck recognises that there are many ways to learn and develop beyond just the classroom. Exposure to new opportunities helps children to broaden their horizons, make new friends, and develop fundamental life skills.
Our comprehensive timetable of lunchtime and after-school activities is designed to foster creativity, curiosity, innovation, and independence and ranges from sports, music, the arts, debating, ecology, computer coding, and much more. In addition, our libraries remain open after school until late to enable students to study on-site each evening.
What their Students Say

“Within weeks, you build relationships. Its more like a family, like having a big house full of siblings”.
